Customer Service Team Members Participate in Virtual 5K to Support Parkinson’s Research
May 10, 2021 – Members of the Ward Manufacturing (“Ward”) Customer Service team took part in a Virtual 5k supporting the Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
While this event looked a little different this year due to COVID-restrictions, that didn’t stop the fun! Participants were required to record a total of about 3 miles or 6,250 steps between May 7-9, 2021, to count as their 5k. Some of the girls were able to get outside for their walk/jog together, and others went it alone. This fun event took place at Island Park in Blossburg, PA.
Pictured here Kallie Wickman [Onks], Joy Meyers, CherryLynn Peters, Alesia Whipple, and Sara Cleveland. . . or the “Hustlin’ Honey’s” as they were known by for this event. Together this team raised a whopping $820 for this organization ($320 more than their original goal!), and we couldn’t be prouder!
