First United Methodist Church (UMC) Matthew 25 Food Pantry received a generous $200 donation from Ward Manufacturing (“Ward”) on April 29, 2021, as part of Ward’s Dress Down Thursday program.
This Ward-run program allows main office staff members to “pay” to wear jeans every Thursday, and in return all the money collected from this casual wear is donated directly to the charity that is chosen that month. For April, this Blossburg-based organization was picked to participate. It is our hope that this donation will help provide necessary resources to the food pantry, so that members of Tioga County don’t have to go hungry.
Thank you again for the generosity of all Ward Manufacturing staff members for their selflessness!
